Engineer and educator at the intersection of distributed systems, reliability, and developer enablement. I build platforms — and the people who operate them. Over the past 5 years I've designed and delivered technical training to 1,300+ engineers across Kubernetes, observability, and cloud-native systems. I've seen firsthand what separates teams that operate with confidence from those that don't — and I bring that lens to everything I build. In practice that means: distributed systems in production at scale, Kubernetes, observability (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, tracing), traffic management stacks, and cloud migrations that actually stick. Helping people grow is not a side effect of my work — it's the goal. /* null pointers should be destroyed */
Introduced Scala 3 to the engineering team, leading the migration and establishing new patterns and conventions across the codebase Built backend services powering sales prospecting workflows, serving both internal teams and the core product Led internal Kubernetes knowledge-sharing sessions, upskilling the engineering team on container orchestration and production operations Scala, Scala3, ZIO, GraphQL, K8s, Docker, Microservices, Kafka, Postgres, Mongo, Datadog
Designed and delivered multi-level technical curricula to 1300+ engineers across Kubernetes (intro -> advanced with Istio, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus), containerisation, Ansible, and cloud-native systems Built courses from scratch - including hands-on labs, assessments, and progressive skill tracks - covering both theory and production-grade practices High repeat engagement: many participants returned for subsequent courses and advanced levels https://www.comarch.pl/szkolenia/rozwiazania-chmurowe/zarzadzanie-kontenerami-1/kubernetes-poziom-podstawowy/
Core member of the R&D cloud team, supporting migration of multiple internal teams to cloud-native architectures Drove adoption of 12-factor app principles, microservices patterns, and well-formed API design across the organisation Introduced Domain-Driven Design concepts to engineering teams Organised and spoke at internal meetups, building engineering culture around distributed systems and cloud-native practices Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Postgres, Scala, Java, Python, Ansible
Built backend services powering sales prospecting workflows, serving both internal teams and the core product Led internal Kubernetes knowledge-sharing sessions, upskilling the engineering team on container orchestration and production operations Led technical hiring for Scala FP backend engineers - reviewing CVs, conducting in-depth technical interviews, and providing hiring recommendations Scala, ZIO, GraphQL, Cats, Monix, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, Kafka, Postgres, Mongo, Datadog
Built and evolved an event-based gamification platform in a microservices architecture as a core team member Optimised legacy systems for speed, availability, and scalability Introduced Domain-Driven Design (both strategic and tactical modelling) to the team Collaborated closely with the DevOps team on infrastructure and deployment practices Scala, Microservices, Kafka, MongoDB, Cassandra, Docker, Sbt, DDD, Ansible
Worked on event-based gamification platform in microservices manner as a member of the core team Scala, Akka (Actors, Cluster, Streams, HTTP, Persistence), Microservices, Kafka, MongoDB, Cassandra, Docker, Sbt
Worked on event-based gamification platform as a member of the core team Scala, Akka (Actors, HTTP, Persistence), RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Cassandra, Docker, Sbt
Designed, implemented, and tested a module for JSON serialisation/deserialisation of complex data flow graphs in the MetaDex product Java 8, Maven
