I am an 18 year old A-level Biology, Psychology and Film studies student who is consistent in achieving top grades whilst remaining dedicated to my extra-curricular activities. I've played cricket for 7 years now and have been fortunate enough to not only play but also captain a team that represented the South-East of England. This has taught be resilience and discipline as it took me several years to earn my place in that team. On top of that, I have also been dancing for over 12 years at my local dance school (Laura Henderson Dance Academy) in which I was also fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to perform as Peter Pan in my schools ballet show in December 2024. I have loved dancing for years as it allows me to express my creative side whilst also allowing me to relax and do something I love. In addition, I am also one of eight student leaders at Edgbarrow Sixth form which involves working with the schools governors and the Senior Leadership team to help improve the community at Edgbarrow. This involves attending regular meetings, organising whole school events such as open evenings and sports day etc, whilst raising money for year 13 Prom and Leavers celebrations.
I came to Content Guru for work experience in marketing, in which I learnt how office workplaces work as well as skills including attending meetings, writing meeting briefings, how to film promotional content, writing emails, account-based marketing and using AI to generate images and videos for the company.
I was involved in helping the children throughout the day, completing tasks such as reading stories, helping manage snacks and meals, and helping to take the children to a local woods for walks and outdoor interactive learning.
