A seasoned executive with 20 years of deep-tech startups and non-profit director, Linh was the founding CEO of flextrapower with the vision to help people with diabetes, co-founder of Buyo bioplastic, with the mission to upcycle biowaste and reduce plastic consumption. Most recently, he is the co-founder and CEO of Piezo Bio, which aims to develop a potential cure for Osteoarthritis, addressing the mobility issue for both human and animal markets. Trained as PhD in material science, Linh is an inventor at heart, holding more than 10 patents worldwide. As an active investor, mentor, and advisor for startups in the field of material sciences and healthcare innovation through various programs, including Innovation UBC, Spring Impact, Accelerate Okanagan, and Antler, directly helping their portfolio companies raise several rounds of funding. As the active board director of nonprofit organizations, Linh serves as Vice Chair of the SUCCESS Foundation and has raised over $3 million in the past four years to support the Immigration Community. Since 2023, Linh has been the Treasurer of Exceleration Multisport and Triathlon, helping to build the financial foundation for the Society, developing a long-term financial strategy for sustainable growth to serve Youth Sport. A big believer in giving back, Linh was one of the team leaders of Team Schnitzel, helping raise more than $250k for 4 years participating in the BC Cancer Tour de Cure. He's also supporting the annual Terry Fox Run, raising money for Cancer Awareness and Treatment.
I helped the Sharper Sense founding team spin out of Columbia University, got through the Cornell Tech program, participated in the NSF I-Corps, and raised several rounds of investment throughout 2021-2025. Notable investors include NBC, Comcast, Joyance Partners, and others.
