Based between Milan, Rome and Barcelona, over the past ten years I have worked across several major music and cultural events and organisations in Europe, including Sónar Festival, SIAE – Italia Music Export, Dart Festival, DGTL Barcelona, Manifesta Biennial, Good2b Agency, and the Italian Cultural Institute of Edinburgh. I currently work as a Senior Cultural Officer in the Culture Department of the City of Milan where I'm working to design services and activities related to music, audiovisual and podcasting for the Milan's upcoming new central public library (BEIC - Biblioteca Europea di Informazione e Cultura). From 2021 to 2023 I worked at SIAE where I had the opportunity to travel across three continents, contributing to internationalisation projects for the Italian music scene. I took part in around fifteen international music conferences, supported the organisation of two international songwriting camps and two editions of Milano Music Week. In addition, I coordinated diversity and inclusion initiatives with a focus on gender equity, collaborating with pioneering networks such as Keychange and Equaly. I have developed and launched Italy's first campaign aimed at preventing sexual violence and gender-based discrimination on the dancefloor. In 2021, I was selected for the EMX – European Music capacity-building programme for music exporters, funded by the European Commission and implemented by a consortium of European music export offices, created to identify new strategies to support and promote European music worldwide. In 2020, I was one of the three Italian music professionals selected as Keychange Innovator, the international movement for gender balance in the music industry supported by Creative Europe. I have been invited as a panelist at international conferences and festivals such as Linecheck, MIL Lisboa, Ireland Music Week, Milano Music Week, and at the Italian Cultural Institute of Dakar. I have also been invited as a guest lecturer at FIDI – Florence Institute of Design International and Rutgers University (New Brunswick, US). I DJ under the name Gusto Letizia.
