About

Having previously studied Zoology with the intention of pursuing a career in the conservation sector, I have more recently pivoted towards the environmental humanities based on my understanding of the climate crisis as an issue that requires both radical social intervention as well as technological innovation. I firmly believe in the role of the cultural sector in facilitating behaviour change and the transition towards a low carbon society. Throughout my eclectic work history I have taken an active role in delivering a range of projects aimed at addressing issues of social injustice and public health & wellbeing. Areas of particular focus have included cultural democracy, food insecurity and transport inequity. I subscribe to a dignified approach to community development and aim to empower individuals to discover their own potential to affect positive change.
