I began my career as a legal assistant/paralegal in Sacramento, California working for three major law firms. This led to working for a large religious institution (FOPC) for almost 15 years, setting up all the outside events, preparing the appropriate contracts/service agreements and managing a hospitality team as well as a full catering kitchen. As the Director over the Hospitality Department, we hosted a multitude of groups including San Juan Unified School District, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s department, RootsWeb and many other companies as well as multiple private weddings. Moving to Adventist Health in the Supply Chain Department allowed me to learn about the procedures, policies and software involved in running multiple hospitals/clinics from a corporate level .
Executive Administrative Assistant who supports the Vice-President, 4 Administrative System Directors, 2 Directors, and multiple business partners for the Supply Chain Department. Responsible for rebate tracking/processing for corporate, 20 regional hospitals and 150 clinics. Conducted online assistance for Oracle Cloud expense reports and invoice processing as well as producing reports upon request. Involved with multiple inter-department products and processes. Streamlined office operations and functionality within the Supply Chain department. Managed the mailroom for corporate as well as many projects in regard to the Supply Chain Team. Committed to strengthening departmental collaboration.
Responsibilities included: all calendaring for in-house and all outside vendor use of facilities; preparation of all contracts and fee schedules, billing and insurance issues involving outside entity use of facility; coordination of all aspects of large shows; scheduling of employees and volunteers for all events; purchasing and maintenance of equipment for full-catering kitchen; management of catering department; creating job descriptions for multiple positions as well as hiring individuals to fill those positions; creating procedure manuals for various procedures/positions; maintaining logs on maintenance and driver requirements for use of company vans.

Worked as private contractor with various offices in town including: Law Offices of Michael M. McKone - performed all aspects of running the law office and preparation of documentation for Mr. McKone in his capacity as Judge Pro Temp for the Sacramento Superior Court. California Dental Association Data Entry – contracted to input pre-registration data for an annual dental convention consisting of 18,000 to 28,000 attendees Dreyer, Babich & Buccola, Attorneys at Law Legal Transcriptionist Performed transcription of all attorneys’ dictation, computer input of forms/merging of same, technical support on software.
Worked with Mr. William C. McKinley and associate attorneys on insurance defense cases.
