My duties @ NJU include preparing and submitting CMS 1500 claims forms to over 40 insurance companies, taking and receiving patients phone calls regarding their bill, light payment posting, charge entry, working denial batches, correcting and updating the claims for proper submission to the insurance companies and proper processing of claims with in a timely matter, work follow ups on insurance and patients accounts, write up and submit appeals to the insurance companies and lastly research and correct credentialing issues between the providers and the insurance companies
