Leonie Henzell completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Queensland University and upon graduation, practised in a wide range of clinical situations for 10 years. Many life lessons were learned in these formative years and have become foundational to the beliefs and approach to customer service, leading people and collaborative relationships in business. To bridge the gap between Physiotherapy and the burning desire to start a business, Leonie studied a Masters of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Swinburne University. Completing only 2 of the 3 years, before having the confidence to start her first pure play e-commerce venture in 2004. Founded in 2004, Bockers & Pony was created to provide stylish people with a delivered gifting option like no other. Back in 2004, the e-commerce gifting options were scarce. Riddled with water crackers and cellophane and didn't really cater for people wanting original, carefully curated and distinctive gifts focussing on quality. A Bockers & Pony gift has truly evolved over time to represent a symbol of gratitude for the important people in one's life. Choosing a Bockers & Pony gift hamper is a proud luxury choice with the purpose of building relationships and human connection.
