Professional School Counsellor | Empowering Youth Mental Wellness & Emotional Regulation | Crisis Intervention

Singapore, Singapore

About

As a Professional School Counsellor, my core mission is to empower youths on their journey of self-discovery, equipping them with the emotional regulation skills they need to navigate challenges with confidence and resilience. I strongly believe that effective student care requires a systemic and integrated approach. My long-term vision involves actively supporting teachers and school staff, sharing insights on diverse mental health topics to help them feel more equipped and effective in their vital roles as educators. In my daily practice, I take a grounded and highly relational approach to student wellbeing. Having completed my Diploma in School Counselling at the National Institute of Education (NIE), my work is heavily informed by the principles of Choice Theory Reality Therapy (CTRT). I focus on helping students uncover their intrinsic needs and gently guiding them towards making constructive, self-directed choices.
