As a Field Service Engineer for Boon Edam, a global leader in secure and innovative entrance solutions, I am responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of automated access systems, including security revolving doors, speed gates, turnstiles, and sliding doors. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission Boon Edam security entrance products at client sites across commercial, governmental, and critical infrastructure locations. Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring minimum downtime and optimal system performance. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software faults using diagnostic tools, schematics, and Boon Edam’s service protocols. Liaise with project managers, contractors, and end clients to ensure all work is completed to high standards, within project timelines and safety regulations. Provide training and on-site guidance to end-users and facilities teams on the safe and efficient operation of Boon Edam systems. Maintain accurate service records, work reports, and parts usage logs using field service management software. Travel extensively to customer locations across the region with a strong emphasis on punctuality, independence, and professionalism
