Lead electrical maintenance activities in a 24/7 processing facility, ensuring reliability and efficiency of systems including instrumentation, industrial programming, and critical supplies. Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across MEP, HV substations, water treatment, gas burners, and communications. Supervise a team of 16 multidisciplinary technicians and manage subcontractors. Ensure system uptime, safety compliance, and coordination with QA and budget control. Monitor labour reporting and track departmental performance metrics.
Lead commissioning activities in a brownfield industrial expansion project, ensuring system installation, testing, and performance prior to full operation. Commission key systems including screening, flotation, drying, power, automation, and instrumentation. Coordinate SCADA integration with software teams. Oversee site activities, QA/QC inspections, and punch list closure. Support technical close-out and handover documentation. Train operational staff and participate in multidisciplinary planning meetings.
Coordinate and oversee engineering projects, including design preparation, tender and budget management, inspections, and commissioning. Review installations and train staff for new implementations. Monitor assets, propose maintenance plans, and manage technical documentation. Contribute to project phases from feasibility to execution. Deliver HV substation and MV upgrades; support its operation and improvements. Participate in FATs, design reviews, contractor coordination, and site supervision. Promote equipment standardization and lead infrastructure upgrades across utilities and technical systems, including water distribution, communication networks, CCTV, MCCs, and energy performance measures. Manage procurement and submittals; lead special equipment tenders. Coordinate BIM and IFC documentation; support QA and project close-out.
Oversee project execution and maintenance operations for industrial installations, including LV/MV electrical systems, HVAC, water, gas, fuel, automation, and safety systems. Provide technical direction to experienced teams and manage project cycles from design and budgeting to delivery and client handover. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, supervise daily technical support for industrial clients, coordinate technician shifts and contingency plans, and ensure reporting to the Operations Director.
