Project Manager in the Innovation and Product Development group working on the delivery of commercial products and services that create value for Sydney Water and its customers through world class water services. The goal of these programs is to generate unregulated income for the company and value-added contributions to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. Current projects include: 1. Sydney Water Solar Program Deliver the design and installation of Solar Panels across nominated Sydney Water sites to increase solar generation capacity, reduce electricity purchases from the grid and contribute to the company’s Carbon Zero Plan. 2. Recycled Water Growth and Improvement Management (operations and maintenance) of small-scale storm water treatment plants that deliver recycled water to users in the Sydney Metropolitan area. 3. Energy Demand Response Management of the Sydney Water’s Energy Demand Response by curtailing the electricity usage of Sydney Water assets to help reduce the demand on the grid especially during peak demand periods in summer or potential generator / transmission outages. 4. Customer Delivery Innovations Commercialization of the Wizards and S Gate bypass tools to enable repairs to be carried out under pressure in various applications on water mains without having to shut down the network. Thus, significantly reducing service interruptions to our customers.

Project Manager and Reservoir Solutions Advisor for major oil and gas operators in Papua New Guinea. (Oil Search Limited, ExxonMobil, Total Exploration & Production PNG, Repsol, Inter Oil) Intimately Involved in the full project life cycle of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of the directional drilling and formation evaluation services aspects of well construction.
Manage and support of measurement / logging-while-drilling (MWD/LWD) operations in Australia in terms of product service line assets, inventory and human capital. Liaise with customer personnel regarding operational requirements for existing projects, seek new business opportunities and identify areas for new technology utilization. Drive customer key performance indices, HSE and service quality initiatives to enable best in class service delivery. Responsible for customer invoicing, management of revenue streams and internal cost control.
Provide service quality support for service excellence, equipment reliability and customer satisfaction. Review performance and KPI data to identify trends and opportunities for performance improvements. Promote the use of the internal quality management system, compliance with ISO Standards and ensure customer data integrity within product service line. Perform internal audits to assess field, operations and equipment maintenance performance. Focal point for field failure analysis (root cause determination), Radiation Safety (Perth) and LEAN Leader for Australasia.
Assigned to the Sabah Deep-water Development program. Duties include development of drilling programs, AFE costs analysis, daily operational drilling surveillance and pre/post well performance analysis. Liaised with specialist drilling contractors, suppliers, operations geologist, geophysicists and offshore drilling team.
Provide planning, design, analysis, job coordination and serve as the primary link between the customer and the service delivery team for new and existing measurement / logging-while-drilling MWD/LWD contracts. Manage MWD/LWD assets and personnel for deployment within the natural work area. Daily operational drilling surveilance, revenue forcasting and customer invoicing. Drive service quality and HSE initiatives at rig site for continuous improvement of deliverables.
Managed and coordinate all aspects of directional drilling (DD) and measurement/logging -while-drilling (MWD/LWD) services for the China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC) Dong Fang 1-1 Phase II gas development project. 2 platforms (14 wells) were drilled and evaluated utilising Geopilot Rotary Steerable tools with full suite Logging-While-Drilling and Drilling Optimisation tools. Coordinated project almost single handedly from at a remote location in Zhanjiang, Guandong province south of China.
Work scope is to provide specialized measurement/logging-while-drilling (MWD/LWD) services at well sites for the basis of the wells viability. Experienced as a Lead Engineer operating hi-tech nuclear formation evaluation and directional surveying tools, develop logging plans, preparing final logs and reports. Worked in various offshore locations (Exploration/Appraisal/Development Wells) for various Oil & Gas Operating Companies within Malaysia and abroad including the Gulf of Thailand and the Gulf of Mexico, USA.
Drive the optimization of the SMDS plant (Gas and Utilities) to meet scheduled production plans, operating budgets and improve wherever possible. In addition, to provide technical support for the plant in terms of problem solving, incident analysis plant changes or project implementation during commissioning, start-up and normal operations. Heavy involvement in the commissioning and start up of the demineralised water system and open cooling water system. Development of a systematic monitoring program for gas and utilities in the plant and water systems.
