As an enthusiast of technology and intellectual property ("IP") ever since his first doodling (using crayons) of the logo "Kids Central" (a national TV channel) at the prime age of 7, Lenon is always happy to chat about these topics and more. During Lenon's time at his alma mater, the National University of Singapore, he spearheaded projects which raised the awareness of IP-related issues in the arts and digital sectors. To give back to the community, Lenon also led a pro bono project which assists non-profit organisations in complying with Singapore's data protection legislation; actively supported a legal technology project as part of the Singapore Academy of Law’s Legal Technology Vision; and took part in community-led initiatives to advocate for mental health and a more positive culture. Lenon has worked with a diverse range of entities, from technology start-ups to multi-national corporations, and with individuals across different cultures in legal practice. He also has experience in conducting training workshops, and collaborating with public agencies and international organisations such as the World Intellectual Property Organization during overseas missions. Lenon's hobbies include gaming, capturing life's moments using a camera, and finding the perfect mix of ice, milk, and tea (and/or coffee for the particularly hectic week).
