As the project manager of a student consulting team working with the startup Silverstream Medical, I serve as the point of contact for the client, organize the project structure, and manage timelines and deliverables for our team. The project has two main components: (1) researching and building an SSI risk and demographic matrix that analyzes how factors such as diabetes, obesity, and oncology status affect surgical site infection risk across surgical specialties, and (2) developing a strategic investor prospect list of venture capital firms, MedTech companies, and foundations with a clear rationale for outreach. This experience has allowed me to explore the world of healthcare and life sciences consulting work, which I hope to pursue more of in the future.
In this role, I manage TAMID Group’s programming and professional development. I organize guest speaker events and internal workshops. Through this experience, I am learning how to take ownership of events and support the growth of other members and the organization.
I completed TAMID’s education semester, where I learned the fundamentals of consulting, market research, and business analysis. After transitioning into the consulting track, I worked on a project with Effective Therapy, a mental health startup, supporting product testing and providing structured feedback on their trauma-focused AI therapy platform. This experience helped build my foundation in consulting and prepared me for future project management roles.
I manage the chapter’s online presence and content strategy across social platforms. I create and schedule posts, support branding efforts, and track engagement to help maintain an active 15K+ follower community.
I design and format magazine spreads and create promotional graphics using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. I work with editorial and social media teams to support the magazine’s visual direction.
I give back to my high school by tutoring students in Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Computer Science, and Biology.
