About

I view marketing as a way of being creative. It's an opportunity to build a connection with whoever views your work and gain enough of their trust for them to believe in what you're selling. It's an opportunity to get to know the person who's seeing your work and understand what they want and need. That is why I want to do it. I want to find out what people are thinking and help businesses build a level of communication and trust with their target market. I love finding new ways to connect the seller to the buyer. Building marketing campaigns and content is also a big hobby of mine. During my time studying marketing, I have found it to be a lot of fun and something that I engage well with, in all places. That's why I'd love to build my career in marketing and hope to push on and find success in that. As for my hobbies outside of Business and Marketing, I really love bettering myself, both physically and mentally. I really enjoy fitness, it feels like an easy escape from your surroundings. It helps me to focus on one thing. Which can help me when my mind can start to go wayward. This also helps me to stay on task even afterwards, as it helps me turn away from one thought instead of a dozen. I do also love to learn and expand my thinking. For example I enjoy reading, I find it to be a great way to understand a new person's perspective, which can help you to greater understand the people that surround you. For example a recent novel "nineteen steps" by Millie Bobby Brown, shedding a light on what it's like to be an innocent person in a war-stricken country. I also enjoy reading books that can give me a new view on the way I live my life, and how I can improve myself and lead a happier one. For example Trent Shelton's 2019 release "The Greatest You", which is a breath-taking commentary of how he changed his life and the small changes we could all make to ours. On top of that I do love to socialise with friends and family, whether it's analysing our favourite moments from films, catching up over coffee, or just playing console together. I do really enjoy building on my relationships with the people around me.
