Share Margin Financing (“SMF”) System • Implement Share Margin Financing system started with migration of existing margin accounts from back office system. • Subsequently, develop various modules such as cash and share movement, valuation given to the cash and share collateral, margin call and force sell mechanism, margin redemption, corporate action financing, various regulatory and management reports. In addition thereto, integration between SMF system with front end trading system, account management system, remisier portal, risk management system, SAP system, BNM CCRIS reporting etc. • After system goes live, support the BAU, implement and evaluate the CR as well as conduct ad hoc campaign. • Product research with system owner to propose new product features which aim to generate more revenue and profit to the company. Loan Management System (“LMS”) • Implement full life cycle from new loan account onboarding until full settlement of the account. • Develop a complete process for loan drawdown. • Ensure different interest calculation and late interest calculation in system function as expected by the business user. • Principal and interest repayment work accordingly based on the arrangement between corporate banking with the client. • Build reports such as notice of advice, authorization for drawdown, reminder letter as well as various finance and regulatory report. • Integration between the LMS system with risk management system, SAP system, BNM CCRIS reporting etc. • After system goes live, ongoing enhancements to support more business needs. Project Management • Handle different ad hoc projects such as CCRIS enhancement 2023 by BNM, servers consolidation in order to optimize server resources.
- Responsible for system analysis on new products, new initiatives and campaigns. - Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats. - Construct workflow charts and diagrams by studying system capabilities follow by writing functional specifications. - Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications. - Perform product setup at core system from scratch which cover various insurance/takaful modules such as new business, underwriting, product, actuarial, commission, channel, reinsurance, policy servicing, claim, benefit payout and valuation. - Conduct insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues. - Guiding and monitoring several new recruits in particular 7 of them. - Empowered to represent my respective department and may cast the power of voting, providing resolution or feedback during the administrative meeting -Meet up with the head of department (HOD) to discuss both the long-term and short-term objectives as well as envisaged the plan to achieve the same. -Liaise with the heads who in charged of different department (e.g. Actuarial, Product, IT, Operation and etc.) especially where a specific project needs the high level of corroboration between few departments.
- Performing data analysis using customer individual level databases with over few hundred million records. - Responsible for deep dive analysis on product and campaign to discover useful insights. - Deliver and communicate the findings and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders for further business action. - Providing ad hoc analysis for product owners to understand how the product is performing, identify trends and business opportunities. - Develop cluster analysis to create customer behavioral segmentation. - Assess financial feasibility and build business case for marketing campaigns.
