My background includes working for a multi-national main contractor in the UK, as commercial manager of high value design and build projects, and then gaining international experience working for asset management & construction consultancies in Dubai, UAE, providing cost management services across a portfolio of projects for local developers. Working in the construction industry since 2006, I have a wealth of experience on projects ranging from £3m to +£500m. Involved in both public and private sectors, project sectors include; Residential, PRS, Education, Hotel, Retail and Mixed Use. These have utilised various forms of JCT, FIDIC and bespoke Contracts. Specialist knowledge includes acting as cost consultant and employer’s agent, cost planning, pre and post contract administration including negotiation of final accounts, cost control, value engineering and project monitoring. I am a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
