I am a Director at Circle Internet Financial and have spent the last fifteen years inside some of the most influential technology companies of our time: Apple, Meta, and now Circle, building financial systems, managing complexity, and watching firsthand how technology reshapes the flow of money and value. That vantage point has led me to a broader question. We are not simply experiencing another wave of productivity gains. We are entering a structural shift in how economic value is created , and in the role human labor plays within it. Artificial intelligence and automation are beginning to challenge a long-standing assumption: that work is the primary mechanism of economic participation. When that assumption changes, the effects extend far beyond employment statistics. They touch how we define contribution, how wealth is distributed, how institutions adapt, and how individuals find purpose. Those questions led me to begin writing The Age of Abundance Series, an exploration of how core systems of society evolve as scarcity gives way to abundance. The first book, The Age of Abundance: AI and the Future Beyond Work, launches in April 2026. Writing is how I think through what I’m observing. Here I share essays and reflections on AI, work, wealth, and the human implications of a more abundant future.
