- Support for technical development of initiatives of several teams within MercadoEnvios (shipment and logistics for the MercadoLibre e-commerce) at both code and architectural level. The solution architecture is based mainly in microservices and async communications using messages queue. - Selecting the most adequate architecture from a wide range of cloud services (message queues, jobs, relational databases, caches, kvs databases, document search databases among other) offered by the internal cloud, which was build on top of AWS. Pushing technical improvement and maintenance into the teams' backlog prioritization to raise the quality of the applications. Defining and implementing technical KPIs, to set a baseline of technical quality for the projects.
- Checkout Unified project: Leaded one of the teams (with 4 developers) in charge of complete rebuild the checkout process for every product offered in the site. Not only the front end, but also all the backend process including orchestration of risk analysis, booking on providers, payment and billing. Participated on the building of the applications architecture (macro and within the applications). - Loyalty project: (current project) Leading a team 8 developers (including both backend and frontend) responsible for the design and implementation of the enrollment process to the loyalty program. Worked along side Product Analysts, UX, Business Analysts and Marketing on the design of the program, focusing always on being client centric. Also worked on the interactions with banks apis, to design and implement a cobranded credit card in both Brasil and Argentina, which complements the program. Other projects: - Jovenes de Alto Vuelo: worked on the training program for trainees on their first job (20+ per class, more than one class per year). This included contributions on the design of the syllabus, presential classes and reviewing assignments. This program allowed the company to incorporate new developers with knowledge tailored to the current needs.
Involved on analysis, architecture and design decisions of new features and improvements for several projects. Defined API to integrate with other project both internal and third parties. Maintaining a business-core application that orchestrates the different parts of a packages reservations, involving, but not limited to, booking flow of the different products (flight, hotel, car, etc.), fixing problems online on booking and charges, sending notification emails. Monitoring of the production environment for possible errors, and resolution on real time of problems and bugs. Configuring and maintaining servers for test and production environments on the company owns cloud (based on OpenStack). Worked close to QA team to ensure the quality of each new feature.
Teacher Assistant for the System Analysis course at UTN - FRBA. In charge of syllabus of the course, dictation of classes, both theory and exercises and directly assisting the students during the length of the course. Our mission is to provide to our customers a complete service according to their needs and budget. As an architect I'm responsable for not only the internal architecture of the software solutions developed at Celteeka, but also to integrate our solutions with the current software at the customers and also to provide support for the needs of the future. As that, I have experience designing (both high and low level) developing web based solutions, to be excecuted at web and applications servers (as Tomat, Jboss and eny other variant of them), the maintainance of them under Unix based systems, integrating system through web services and messaging solutions. I have also non technical skills, which allow me to interact with the clients and specify with them the requirements of any software solution they need.
