I joined Stakester as a co-founder in 2019, developing an MVP and bringing on both in-house and outsourcing teams for continued development of new features. As Head of Development I worked closely with members from all teams within the company, providing technical expertise and guidance on new features and functionality that was required from the product.
I worked for Introversion Software as a Senior Programmer on their BAFTA winning title, Prison Architect. I was responsible for implementing new features on a monthly release cycle, bug fixing, community engagement, and organising the company's presence at trade shows. Some of the areas I was responsible for included the implementing the modding system, integration of Steamworks API, and localisation of the game. Following Prison Architect, I worked on Scanner Sombre, and lead the graphical design of the game, implementing a particle system that could give the desired LIDAR inspired look and feel the game is known for.
I was a Freelance Programmer for a number of companies, both within and outside of the games industry.
I originally joined Beatnik Games to help design and prototype new game ideas within the company. Since then I have also worked on titles across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and iOS. I also worked on an update to Plain Sight, to improve Steam integration in the game.
