Experienced manager and executive with core values of developing people and processes to exceed goals for the near and long term. There is no greater exhilaration for me than to lead a team or organization to a new solution or advancement. I combine a superior background in logic and physics with a love for safety and environmental protection and a proven ability for innovation to achieve previously considered impossible results in operations. My career experience has been pushing the boundaries of performance in very mature processes to new heights and increasing profitability.

Decreased employee lead exposure by 56%. • Successfully closed a 25 year old OSHA abatement order regarding employee lead exposure. • Improved Lean Manufacturing implementation by 40% over two years according to a 3rd party Lean Manufacturing implementation audit. • Consistently maintained regulatory compliance as evidenced through NYDEC inspections and unannounced 3rd party audits for environmental and safety compliance. • Maintained certifications for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 after inheriting an ISO 14001 program that had been cited with a major non-conformance jeopardizing the certification. • Lead a team that saved the plant from imminent closure by the NYDEC after a poorly designed and installed secondary containment system for the plant batch house began widespread leaking. • Lead a team that resolved years long quality and major operational issues at the facility’s sodium sulfate crystallizer.
