I'm a learning experience designer passionate about evidence-based and human-centered design. I cover the entire learning experience life-cycle from learning needs analysis through design and delivery to assessment and evaluation. As a psychologist, I started out in quantitative research and statistical analysis. Design thinking opened up the world of UX design, qualitative research and creative strategies to me. Through my work as an educational therapist I merged into learning design. Over the past 10 years I had the privilege of working in a variety of educational settings ranging from workshops to paper products, individual coaching to e-learning and from kindergarteners to professionals. Things I'm great at: - Learning discovery One of my favorite things in the design process is running discovery and co-design workshops with clients and learners, working with subject matter experts, and digging into what learners really need. - Evidence-based design I'm more than happy to bury myself in a stack of scientific papers (budget and time permitting) and design trainings that are founded in research, follow best practices, and change behavior that can be tested for effectiveness. - Learning analysis I'm coming from a background of quantitative research, experiments and survey design, with added training in a range of psychometric, standardized and qualitative diagnostic tools - and I'm always eager to put that to use.
