QA Automation Engineer | Playwright · Selenium · RestAssured · Java | ISTQB Certified | AI-Augmented Testing I’m an ISTQB Certified QA Automation Engineer (Foundation Level v4.0) with a Java developer background, specializing in building robust test automation frameworks for complex microservices architectures — covering both UI (Playwright, Selenium) and API (RestAssured, Postman) layers. The ISTQB certification reflects not just a badge, but a structured approach to software quality: I apply recognized testing principles, risk-based thinking, and best practices across every project I work on. Over the past 3+ years I’ve gone from increasing test coverage from 75% to 98% at Bitdefender, to cutting regression testing time by 50% at Raiffeisen Bank, to reducing automation script creation effort by 40% using AI-powered tooling (Cursor IDE + Playwright MCP + OpenAPI MCP) at T-Systems. What sets me apart: I come from a Java development background, so I don’t just write tests — I architect maintainable frameworks. I hold a formal ISTQB certification that grounds my work in industry-standard methodology. And I actively embrace AI tooling to work faster and smarter, sharing that knowledge through internal tech talks and workshops. Core stack: Playwright (Java) · Selenium WebDriver · RestAssured · Appium · TestNG · Cucumber · Docker · Kubernetes · CI/CD · Jira · Xray 📜 ISTQB Certified Tester — Foundation Level v4.0 (Brightest, 2024)

The internship was a short one, only 5 weeks long where I had different trainers that presented a lot of technologies such as CI/CD, Java , JPA, Angular, Spring, Selenium etc. I worked on an online catalog that used Angular framework for the front-end and Spring Boot framework for the back-end. It was a very nice experience because I felt for the first time what it's like being part of a real team and how pleasant a positive working environment can be. PS: I did a Soft Skills Course to complete the program where the topics were goals setting, development of communication skills ( different styles of communication, positive feedback ), the interaction with the team and with the client, time management.
