Job Description: Be the face of the Salesforce platform to the business. Overall management of the platform, and collaboration with multiple teams. Manage the Salesforce roadmap and plan all future platform initiatives. Manage the day-to-day execution of project implementations. Change management Stakeholder management. Vendor management. Prioritize backlogs of feature requests from the business. Keep up to date with changes and new features to the Salesforce platform. Define solutions β’ Working with business and IT executives to identify the business needs and define the solution architecture to fulfill them β’ Documenting baseline information and requirements β’ Considerations to future-proof the solution β’ Understanding scale, and architecting implementations that can be expanded seamlessly β’ Providing insight on customisation and third party applications that should be incorporated in the solution β’ Upskill as necessary for the proposed solutions. Implement solutions β’ Producing technical documentation β’ Creating complex automations β’ APEX development β’ Development of visualforce pages and Lightning components β’ Integration with other systems β’ Installation of third party applications β’ Testing β’ Debugging β’ Maintenance/updates β’ Refactoring General Salesforce administration, e.g. user maintenance, permissions, basic platform customisations (fields, page layouts etc.), creating reports and dashboards, security and data management. Solutions and general administration for Pardot. Solutions and general administration for other peripheral systems, e.g. Heroku, Outreach, Box, Dialpad.
Salesforce Consultant duties: β’ Managed/co-managed implementation projects from post-sale to post-go live; β’ Conducted scoping and requirements-gathering sessions with clients to design Salesforce solutions for business processes; β’ Worked closely with key client stakeholders to ensure alignment of business and functional objectives with the Salesforce solution. Salesforce Administrator duties: β’ Implemented Salesforce for multiple clients, including building their orgs from scratch in sandboxes, moving them to production after user acceptance testing, cleaning and importing their data, and providing training and guides; β’ Customized Pardot, including cleaning existing data and integrating it with Salesforce; β’ Integrated 3rd party apps, including Drawloop, SMS Magic, Dropbox and MailChimp; β’ Customized orgs and troubleshot for existing clients; β’ Built custom reports and dashboards according to clientsβ needs; β’ Worked with Sales and Service Clouds (UE, EE & PE, Lightning and Classic), Pardot, Desk.com.
Salesforce administration duties: β’ Daily administration and support of Salesforce database including managing users, profiles and groups, creating and customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations; β’ Worked with management and end-users to create and manage complex workflows and processes; β’ Developed and scheduled customized reports and dashboards; β’ Kept abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements; β’ Trained new and existing users on how to optimize their Salesforce usage; β’ Kept users informed about system functionality and enhancements; β’ Created and maintained documentation on processes for users.
