Lead back-end Drupal developer responsible for feature development, solutions design and ongoing maintenance in house at Bristol based design agency, Six. Sole Drupal developer on a bespoke learning platform for a major corporate client, with around 6,000 registered users, and content in 19 languages across 90+ countries. Developed in Drupal, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, with mostly custom module development, and heavy use of Views. Fully overridden CMS template and interface both on consumer and management side. Responsible for AWS hosting upkeep and management with EC2, RDS, SES instances in multiple regions. Successfully led and implemented several major development pieces all involving heavy data manipulation, bespoke IA design and complex yet robust code on a zero-downtime platform, working closely with front end and design teams. Led technical growth plan within the business as a whole over contract period, providing solutions to fit the client vision for an ever-growing platform and also working within the agency on a number of other projects and digital process development. Designed and brought in new release processes, delivering training and bringing tools such as JIRA and Bitbucket into the organisation – working alongside client services, studio, and digital teams across the agency.
