I have 28 years experience in various commercial roles in the Petrochemical industry. My main expertise includes trading, sales and marketing, business development and operations management. My Specialties: Sales and Marketing of petrochemical products in following grouping : Glycols (MEG, DEG, TEG, HEG), Olefins (C2, C3 and C4), SM, PTA, Linear Alfa Olefins (C6, C8, C10, C12, C14-18), Oxo Alcohols (2EH and IBAL) , Chlor Alkali products (EDC) Aromatics (Benzene, Paraxylenes and derivatives), Phenolics (Phenol and Acetone) and Propylene Oxide business. Currently I am in charge of the marketing sales and development of my current company's Monomer products for PetroRabigh project in Middle East, a joint venture between Sumitomo Chemicals and Aramco as main JV partners for this project.
- Managing diverse sales team to market products globally outside of KSA - Responsible for sales anmd management of all Monomer products from PetroRabign plant in Saudi Arabia - Key product portforlio : Phase 1 products (MEG &PO) = 400KT ; Phase 2 products (PX, BNZ, Phenol and Acetone) = 950KT with P&L responsibilities - Regularly deputize the GM for the Business Unit
- Senior Sales Manager for Global markets (excl. KSA sales) managing a diverse Asian team. - Responsible for the sales and management of existing Monomer products assigned to the Company by ensuring all relevant service organizations are aligned to deliver the contract. - Key product portfolio: ~ 400 K Ton/pa of MEG and 200 K Ton PO with P&L responsibilities - Manage 3 Time Charter dedicated vessels to carry company products as well as sublet for additional income. - Oversee the administration and operation of the Time Charter vessels with respective vessel owner companies - Regularly deputize the General Manager for Monomer business unit.
- Acting Senior Sales Manager for Asia region (excl. domestic PRC sales) managing a diverse Asian team. - Responsible for the sales of existing and new Glycol products assigned in the region by ensuring all relevant service organizations are aligned to deliver the contract.
- Responsible for sales of chemical products for Asia Region (including China sales) - Had a diverse Portforlio of Products : Olefins, Aromatics, Glycols, Oxo Alcohols and Chlor Alkali - Developed markets for new products like Benzene and Pygas as well as Linear Alfa Olefin under this role.
- Worked within a team environment to carry out full range of marketing and distribution activities in ASEAN region. - - Responsible for 3 sales support staff and managed a portforlio of 8 commodity products in new markets. - Secured Shell Eastern Chemicals ASEAN distribution for EG
- Responsible for main bulk operations of edible oils to around Asia and Middle East regions - Applied shipment of all shipment terms (FOB, FOT, CFR and CIF) to daily operations - Trade net application to cargoes for customer declaration - LC documents to Banks for negotiation
