I ran this book review blog along with my two daughters who occasionally submitted reviews. We also hosted tours and giveaways and attended author's book signings.
I was in charge of designing and laying out a three-section weekly newspaper and special sections. The paper received numerous NYPA awards while I was there. I was also the driving force in changing the software the company used from MS Publisher to (back then) the industry standard of Quark XPress. I also wrote articles and reviews for the Views section. I took over the Kids page and visited local schools, interviewing students and taking digital photos of students for the page as well as adding artwork, stories and poems.
