I started as Analog Designer in 1997 at Dolphin Design and then joined Freescale/Motorola in the Toulouse IC Analog SmartPower and Low Power Design Center to manage the design activities of the Automotive Analog product portfolio. In 2005, I joined the Freescale EMEA Automotive Application teams to oversee the Product Design Definition and Customer Application support functions. After more than 18 years in New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering development, I joined the Freescale innovation discovery labs to define, validate and demonstrate 48 V bidirectional trench MOSFET technology. I was honored by NXP’s golden badge (+35 filled US patents in analog/power circuitries). In 2016, I moved to Exagan (start-up acquired by STMicroelectronics in July 2022) to lead concurrent development of in-house PowerGaN technology and products. I recently joined ALTER Technology as Technical Director of the semiconductor segment. Vice-chairman of Jedec JC-70 Committee for Wide Bandgap Power Electronic Conversion Semiconductors. Reviewer of French National Agency of Funding (ANR). Lecturer at INSA Toulouse, ENSEIRB and ICAM Toulouse. Scientific committee member of the 26th & 27th European Symposium on Reliability of Electron Devices, Failure Physics and Analysis, ECCE Europe 2024 and APEC 2025-2026.
Structuring, expanding, and advancing ALTER expertise in electrical testing (wafer, assembled dice, SiP), reliability engineering, robustness testing, and the identification of root cause of failure mechanisms for the semiconductor components operating in harsh environments, such as the defense, aerospace, nuclear, automotive, medical, and oil & gas sectors.
Driving operations, managing HR, defining roadmap to assess reliability & robustness and setting up academics & research laboratories collaborative partnerships (PhD, French and EU founding). Deputy of STMicroelectronics Toulouse site director. Elected as vice-chairman for the JEDEC JC-70 efforts to develop standards for Power GaN and SiC testing, datasheets and reliability.
Build a technical team in charge of product design, validation, final test and reliability. Leverage on external partners for industrialization. Staff member of Exagan.

[…] Freescale encourages every employee to submit ideas and when accepted, that employee gets reassigned to the Discovery Lab to work full-time proving their concept. Within the first year the Labs had over 200 ideas submitted, and now have over 20 dedicated employees at our Discovery Labs.
