I am the founder and CEO of LCL Data Centers. Together with my motivated team we are running 5 data centers throughout Belgium. As a company, we have always sought out the best solutions for our customers. Customer intimacy is our business strategy, because we think long-term customer relationships build on trust offer the best customer experience. Nothing makes me happier than when our customers are successful and able to grow their business with help from us. I’m proud that LCL is the reference for data centers in Belgium. In collaboration with our partners and suppliers, we strive to set new industry standards for the co-creation of reliable, available and connected data centers. Sustainability is at the heart of our organisation: we make sure that our processes are executed in the most energy-efficient and environmentally conscious way. Through active participation in global sustainability (policy) initiatives, we commit to this pioneering role in the data center industry. Being an entrepreneur is one of my greatest passions; I love the challenges that come with it. Besides that, I love jogging, hitting golf balls, skiing in the winter, visiting art galleries - and occasionally buying a piece of art gives me great satisfaction.

The European Data Centre Association (EUDCA) represents the industry at a European, national and local level. The biggest accomplishment of EUDCA is the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact.
FEBELIEC represents the industrial energy consumers in Belgium in issues about energy and climate politics on Belgian and European level. On European level, FEBELIEC is a member of IFIEC Europe (International Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers), the acknowledged partner of the European Commission in energy-related matters. On national level, FEBELIEC defends the specific interests of the industrial consumers, for whom energy cost has a major impact on their competitiveness and of the keeping of the employment they create directly and indirectly. FEBELIEC takes position in a balanced way and in close collaboration with its members.

An incredible experience to be one of the first in Belgium and the Netherlands to build a fiber optic network in the public domain. And to introduce the concept of dark fiber in these markets.
