SUSTONABLE has developed a new revolutionary thin and ultra-light weight building material with the physical look and feel of engineered stone. The mineral fillers (quartz or marble) are agglomerated by recycled thermoplastics not containing organic solvents, resulting in a sustainable affordable and high performance product with looks and feel of natural stone. The product has a high impact resistance and flexural strength and can be produced in very thin (4 to 6 mm) end products. The process is based on a new revolutionary continuous extrusion methodology. There is no chemical reaction during the manufacturing process.
