Laurence has significant experience as a Senior Project Manager, coordinating groups of Business Functional Analysts to define business requirements and system specifications for multi-system development and operational projects. Laurence has also spent over 15 years managing teams. She is skilled in working across both IT and business domains and has an in-depth knowledge of Clearing & Settlement, Asset Servicing and Connectivity product lines. She is proficient as well in business processes / workflows. Through her former roles, Laurence has also acquired depositories and supplier management experience, including consultancy resources.
Management of two Major Strategic Projects as part of a Strategic Programme considering upcoming T2S impacts. Management of team responsible for the development of a new framework for Settlement and Asset Services.
• Management of a multi-location team responsible for project management, business analysis and testing of Clearing and Settlement, Asset Servicing and Connectivity initiatives (e.g. annual SWIFT releases) including all aspects of planning, budgeting, risk controlling and internal/external resourcing. • Project Management of multi-million EUR maintenance project and Regulatory, Change Management and Efficiency initiatives. • Business Release Management for multi project implementations. • Subject matter expert on Settlement, Connectivity and Asset Servicing within ICSD.
• Management of team responsible for Depositories and Cash Correspondent Banks supplier relationships across Europe including contract / pricing negotiation. • Management of integration and consolidation of international Clearing and Settlement and Asset Servicing business of Deutsche Boerse. • Coordination of supplier/ agent network adaptations to key market initiatives (e.g. Euro migration / Y2000)
Commenced employment as Operations Officer as part of the bank accelerated graduate scheme with responsibility for day-to-day international Equity and Eurobond settlements. Managed small Operational team.
