- Promote innovation and product improvement across all the group's sites. - Create beverages of the future. Develop these beverages in the laboratory and with external partners, in-line with KPI's (Timing-Budget-Quality). - Ensure new beverages implementation in the factory in collaboration with the local industrialization and production teams. Organize all first productions. - Provide technical expertise on current and future drinks (compositions, ingredients, manufacturing technologies, direct process, regulatory, environmental, nutrition and food safety aspects). - Provide support to operations and participate in continuous improvement of beverages and processes.
- Carries out beverages applications to present Mane flavors solutions to clients. - Support account managers team with client visits. - Provide trainings and technical support on beverage developments to the local EU Mane application centers and clients.
Team leader (5 people). Review R&D formulas and ingredients approval for Brussels department. Ensure the consistency and accuracy of new formulas within agreed timings. Contact creators for corrections and changes. Support R&D product developers and Business Units commercialization managers on the use of the formula tool. Plan, organize and give quarterly training at the office or via conference call. Spread Formula Corporate Company Policies to R&D and BU. Identify and report tool issues. Agree on and update rules with Global Formula Governance team for worldwide consistency use of the tool.
Lead the beverages technical reformulation and value optimization projects for Europe, Eurasia and Africa. Identification and prioritization of the opportunities with Procurement, Business Units, others R&D centers and suppliers. Report and share yearly saving results with the global management. In charge of the authorization of alternate suppliers for the ingredients in use in the formulae portfolio. R&D trainer: responsible of the ‘R&D induction program’ for the new comers of the department.
Co lead with the marketing the development of the energy drink portofolio for Europe. Creation, development and launch of energy drinks and shots (Burn, Relentless, Nalu...).
Responsible of the development of new beverages and the technical reformulation projects for France, Belgium, Netherland, Great Britain and Ireland. Creation, development and launch of some new Fanta, Powerade, Aquarius, Minute Maid ... Formulas optimization: 30% calories reductions of several drinks.
