At Source EV UK Limited, a joint venture between SSE and TotalEnergies, we are transforming the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the UK and Ireland. Our ambitious goal is to establish 300 hubs or 3,000 charging sockets within five years, driving a cleaner and more connected future. In my role as an HR & Finance Business Partner, I support the Finance & Corporate Affairs Director and HR Manager by overseeing HR operations and financial processes. My key responsibilities include: HR Responsibilities: HRIS Systems Management: Automating and configuring HR policies and employee entitlements in multi-platform HRIS and payroll systems. HR Operations: Handling onboarding, recruitment, training, pay & reward, benefits, performance evaluation, absence management, and time sheets. System Optimization: Supporting the testing, configuration, security, and interface dependencies for HRIS and payroll systems. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborating with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows and processes. Finance Responsibilities: Invoice Processing: Verifying invoices and preparing files for payment runs. Expense Management: Reviewing employee expense reports and processing third-party payments. Customer Refunds: Efficiently managing customer refund requests. Purchase Orders: Creating and revising purchase orders and coordinating reviews of open POs.

§ Be a People Solutions process champion by consistently identifying and implementing improvements to improve the employee experience § Provide fast, accurate & customer-centric responses to basic customer queries § Prepare and process all transactional HR activities ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of service to defined service levels § Ensure data quality (quality, completeness and consistency) in all systems containing people information § Ensure compliance requirements are met and demonstrated for People Solutions § Act as an operational point for employee queries through the Portal or in their hub/location. § Maintain quality and relevance of P&C information on our digital sites and channels (e.g. Sage and the Hub) and champion employee and manager self-service. § Build and maintain internal documentation of processes. § Work with systematic improvement of our work environment to lead compliance and a great employee experience. § Supporting improvement and maintenance of P&C policies, employee handbook, and other publications. § Supporting countries benefit plans as a coordinator with providers, including plan interpretation, and regulatory compliance. § Facilitating a great employee experience, including ensuring employees have relevant information in a timely manner, hosting for new hires’ introduction, ensuring accurate employee records/documentation, etc. § Coordinate the on- and offboarding process including work permit and relocation. § Build and manage employee files and other applicable documentation to ensure compliance with local laws. § Close collaboration with the HR system team to ensure accuracy of employee data and roll out of new functionality.
