Volunteered to serve as co-chair for USF Sarasota-Manatee's signature scholarship fundraiser, Brunch on the Bay. Co-chaired this event to achieve back to back record-breaking years of fundraising. This year raised over $450,000—the most successful brunch to date. Our efforts focus on helping local students to attend college at USF, one of the top 3 universities in Florida, right here in Sarasota-Manatee so that they can in turn power our local businesses and strengthen our community. Between 80 and 90% of USFSM students stay local helping us to keep the talent here! Brunch on the Bay is one of Sarasota-Manatee's premier events. This year, over 600 of the area's business and community leaders to came to enjoy over 25 of best local restaurants serving delicious brunch dishes. Networking, Food, and Fun all to support changing students' lives, building local business, and bettering the community!
