I believe it is vital that every student has equitable access to their education. To do this, it is important to truly get to know each student, leverage their assets and provide tailored scaffolds to help them grow and succeed. In my teaching practice, I strive to help students become lifelong independent, flexible and critical thinkers who: celebrate risk-taking; learn from their mistakes; challenge themselves; and support their peers in times of struggle and success.
