Hi, this is Laura! I was born in Venezuela so I am what most people call an "Immigrant" although I prefer to call me a #CitizenOfTheWorld. I can fluidly speak 4 different languages and one of the things I love the most is writing, I believe in the power of words, and I encourage everyone to learn how to convey their messages in the most assertive way possible because I think the way we communicate can determine our success in life. My degree in Communications focused on Advertising and P.R. is not how my career started, actually, I produced and conducted my radio show and YouTube channel when I was a child. I have experience managing internal communications for a Company with +1000 employees (onsite/hybrid & WFH), including newsletters, Intranet content, Welcome emails, TV content, and more using multiple platforms! Also, I have experience dealing with Content Creation for social media, for example, creating a from scratch Business TikTok account in May 2022 and getting +5000 followers organically by the end of Dec 2022. I have worked on creating scripts, doing voiceovers, and editing Corporate videos that reflect the authentic voice and culture of the organization. I am very good with remote teams and platforms like Canva, Figma, Trello, Slack, and others that allow virtual teams to work simultaneously.
