I qualified as a primary teacher in 1995 and have a wealth of expertise and experience in children’s education. During my 10 years as a tutor, an integral role has been to mentor new staff. I am trained in non-graded observations, where the emphasis is on coaching and mentoring. I currently teach Welsh up to year 6 as a supply teacher and have received training on intermediate Welsh. I achieved a First Class Honours degree in Education before obtaining a PGCE in primary education. I am a qualified IQA for STLS and CCLD. and until recently I was Lead IQA for the Education & Development Department at ACT Training. I was awarded Volunteer of the Year 2018/19 for Tenovus Cancer Care. To date, I have raised £170,000 for services and support for cancer patients in Wales. Over the past year I have been an advocate for the charity and have delivered talks on their work, to a variety of audiences, throughout South Wales. I am totally committed to every task I undertake and look forward to developing my career further. I currently manage Zamora Training, offering induction courses for individuals interested in a career in aviation. During my 10 years in aviation, I have held the positions of senior cabin crew and Cabin Staff Manager.
