I analyze various decarbonization pathways for transportation and materials to support Repsol’s renewable fuels objectives outlined in the Strategic Plan. I develop projects utilizing diverse technologies to produce renewable diesel, renewable gasoline, methanol, and other renewable fuels from waste and electrolytic hydrogen. My role includes conducting market research to identify potential risks and opportunities, as well as assessing the economic feasibility of projects. I prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, offering insights into project progress, financial performance, and strategic evaluations. Additionally, I collaborate with project partners in joint ventures and engage with other stakeholders such as consultancy firms. In recent years, I have been deeply engaged in the Ecoplanta project, which is funded by the European Union’s Innovation Fund program and focuses on producing sustainable methanol from municipal solid waste through a gasification process.

Identification and assessment of both organic and inorganic investment opportunities. Analysis of M&A transactions. Management of multidisciplinary teams with consultancy firms, analysts, and leading agencies in the sector (McKinsey & Company, The Boston Consulting Group, IHS Markit, Wood Mackenzie, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, etc.). • Technical staff of Senior Management: Analysis of strategic issues to facilitate the decision-making process of senior management.
