Making sure that we have the right goods, in the right place at the right time The role of the Supply Chain Planner is to ensure product availability at optimal customer service, e2e inventory and supply chain cost, in alignment with short term and long term business value expectation. The supply chain planner works as an integrator along the value chain by effectively managing trade-offs in multiple planning horizons (operational, tactical, strategic) Key Accountabilities • Analyse and report performance of the supply chain, identify issues proactively and develop action plans, using SAP (MM & APO) • Manage SAP master data relevant to planning • Plan, monitor and control stock levels from end-to-end for your assortment • Analyse capacity and master plan together with Supply point to ensure the right production priorities are made • Represent Supply Chain Planning in development projects • Participate actively to the Supply Chain Planning Team’s objectives and shared responisbilites • Develop knowledge and support continuous improvement programs to achieve service levels, productivity targets and business performance throughout the Supply Chain • Ensure high level of service and act as a link between customers and supply points • Collect, evaluate and question the information from the markets prior sales and planned sales activities in order to assure the quality of the forecasts • Continuously monitor the flow, inform stakeholders and take proactive counter measure to ensure that agreed targets are met
