Bachelor Thesis - obtained a 95% (high first class) on my biochemistry & structural biology-related final year project. Performed a 3-month long lab-based research project at the Randall Centre for Cell & Molecular Biophysics under the supervision of Dr Joseph Atherton. The project focused on exploring the mechanism of kinesin inhibition by kinesin binding protein (KBP). The goal was to obtain a high-resolution structure of the kinesin motor domain and KBP complex by employing various molecular biology techniques, protein expression and purification, and cryo-electron microscopy.
