Laura Andreu is Associate Professor of Finance at University of Zaragoza (UZ) and has taught courses in financial economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration since 2007. From 2011 to 2015, she was Vice-Dean of social and cultural activities of that Faculty. She received her doctorate in Finance from UZ in 2009 after the defense of the thesis entitled “Financial Management of Spanish Pension Plans: Comparison to the UK market”. Her main research area of interest includes asset management, behavioural finance and empirical finance, especially in mutual funds and pension funds. Her research has been published in academic journals including Journal of Financial Services Research, Quantitative Finance, Journal of Operational Research Society, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting and other publications cited in Social Science Citation Index. She has been Visiting Researcher and Lecturer at different international universities such as Victoria University (Melbourne, Australia), University of Exeter (Exeter, UK), Erasmus University (Rotterdam, The Netherlands), University of Cologne (Cologne, Germany) and University of Minho (Braga, Portugal). In addition to her research, she has supervised and participated in several projects for the excellence in teaching.
