- Built and led the Business Agency from inception into a multidisciplinary team delivering 30+ foreign investment projects annually, generating hundreds of jobs. - Developed and executed The Hague’s foreign investment strategy, embedding investment promotion within municipal economic policy and securing long-term political support and funding. - Represented The Hague within the Board of Invest in Holland, helping shape the national 'From Volume to Value' investment strategy and aligning investment attraction with future energy, workforce and infrastructure transition priorities. - Member of the founding management team of The Hague & Partners, securing continued mandate and budget support from the City Council.
- Led the City’s international business attraction activities for energy exploration, engineering and renewable energy companies. - Supported market entry and expansion of international firms including Worley, Refined Technologies, SeaRenergy and Muntajat. - Helped reposition The Hague’s energy sector proposition from conventional energy towards offshore wind, geothermal energy and other renewable technologies. - Built and maintained international networks of consular posts, trade associations and industry stakeholders, attracting multiple energy-sector investments annually.
- Led investor retention programme for 400+ international companies in the region. - Facilitated dialogue between international businesses, legislators and public authorities regarding regulatory developments. - Produced investment climate assessments and advocated policy improvements with public-sector stakeholders.
Held communications, public affairs and government relations roles at the National Ombudsman, Dutch Emission Authority, Ministry of Infrastructure & Environment, Pauw Sanders Zeilstra and Publicis Advertising. Developed expertise in stakeholder engagement, policy communication and government processes.
