35 years of foundation and non-profit management experience focused on improving the well being of vulnerable children and families, particularly in the US and Africa Specialties: Foundation and non-profit strategy, non-profit management, board development, fundraising, advocacy, communications, and alliance building; child development; community development; children affected by HIV/AIDS; education for all; homelessness; refugees. Adept at coalition building. My PhD thesis was on community schools in Mali, based on work I led while I was at Save the Children, that helped get 45,000 children into school and raised the number of primary schools in Mali by 40%.
