Responsibilities: • Manage quarterly and annual divisional financial planning process in a manner supportive of business strategy • Partner with business unit's strategy and therapy teams working to optimize the profitability and long-term growth of business. Accomplishments: • Developed and automated inventory reserve model to correctly identify obsolete, excess, and slow-moving material. Increased inventory turns and reduced required reserve by over 50%. Reduced reserve preparation time from 2-3 days to ½ day. • Successfully reduced the DSO of accounts receivable dramatically in a period of 9 months and fully implemented customized credit policy in each region. • Automated month-end closing process and established inter-company billing procedure to reduce closing time by more than 35% for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. • Developed budget models and cost control programs. • Successfully implemented Oracle 11i - GL, AR, OM, and Inventory modules to integrate with other applications and business channels within 4-6 months. • Developed and coordinated business contingency plans during system implementation.
