Hello! I'm Lars, a Second Year Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University with hands‑on experience in manufacturing, aerodynamics, and engineering design with tons of hands-on and applied experience. As a Makerspace Assistant at the Auburn University Design and Innovation Center, I maintain CNC equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and lead CAM and CNC router trainings. Additionally, I rapidly design, prototype, and test all varieties of parts and mechanisms in multiple mediums of manufacturing based on the Center and our User's needs. On the Design Build Fly Flight Design Team, I conduct wing simulations, analyze NACA airfoils using MATLAB and Xfoil, and create 3D aerodynamic models in Flightstream and OpenVSP. As a Race Engineer for the Auburn iRacing Team, I apply vehicle dynamics knowledge and data analysis to optimize setups and support real‑time decisions allowing our drivers to podium at multiple prestigious events. Through my time with War Eagle Motorsports, I advanced my Siemens NX skills, designed mounting and aerodynamic components, and gained machining and composites experience, including carbon‑fiber part and mold fabrication. As I continue strengthening my engineering skills and knowledge, I hope to gain professional experience in both design and manufacturing experience in Aerospace and Automotive related fields.
