Leading the organisation’s infrastructure and service transformation portfolio, aligned to operational and strategic goals. • Delivered a portfolio of infrastructure and service projects valued at £7M, supporting business continuity and transformation. • Implemented a lifecycle management process for server infrastructure, resolving all high and medium-risk legacy configurations. • Replaced national network gateways across over 570 retail sites, coordinating internal and external delivery teams. • Upgraded WiFi and network access infrastructure across key locations, significantly improving performance and resilience. • Managed a team of 20 and reported delivery performance to senior stakeholders across IT and the wider business.

Across the two roles that I have been fulfilling for the past six years with Mercedes-Benz, I have achieved cost savings of up to 10% per quote and cut annual infrastructure running costs from ~£1.5m to ~£350k by ensuring a stable connection for 70 UK retailers. Through deploying a budget of £4.5m to design internet breakouts, WiFi, LAN and overseeing migration to new WAN services, I have future-proofed the corporate network and communication infrastructure and refurbished retail sites in one year. My implementation of patch management processes has mitigated network infrastructure vulnerabilities of severity-5 to severity-3 to zero, and severity-2 and severity-1 by 90% over a two-year period. Identifying and applying state-of-the-art technology to create regional solutions and introduce regional standards for aspects such as WiFi infrastructure has enhanced the digital customer experience and supported sales teams. I continue to lead both regional and European-wide projects to identify infrastructure requirements and design application, software and WiFi, LAN and WAN solutions, and this work includes aligning technology equality cross-markets, introducing corporate standards and policies to ensure service stability and security, and mapping the asset lifecycle process to support budgetary forecasts to plan network and security devices renewals. Finally, I oversee all aspects of functional domain implementation, demand management, solutions architecture, connectivity, data centre, client, and service operations to maximise efficiencies and performance.
