About

In 2010 I started my PhD Scholar degree in the area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Innovation and Economic Organization, specializing in Social Entrepreneurship. I completed my first Master degree in the field of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in 2008 at the University of Oslo, Norway. As a part of the Norwegian Entrepreneurship Program, did I do courses at Boston University and also an Internship at the Open Source Consulting company Optaros. I finished with best grades that year, an A average (4.83 / 5.00). I have been doing a Master in Economics and Business Administration at NHH in Bergen, with a major in Financial Economics. My minor will either be Strategy and Management or Business Analysis and Performance Management. I did 26 courses first year (the two year master require completion of 12 courses), and I expect to finish with an A average. I have with my 15 years in higher education developed a solid understanding of the two professions that I will study in-depth in my doctoral dissertation. I will do a qualitative study of Venture Capitalists and Entrepreneurs in two regions; Scandinavia and USA. The research project has been given the title: “Early Stage Information Technology Venture Capital Investments – a Comparative Study between USA and Scandinavia”. Past Education include a Bachelor in Marketing and a Bachelor in Computer Science. I established a company in 2004 called netSite together with four Computer Science students.
