As the Owner and Entrepreneur of a Plastic Reconstructive, Aesthetic and Hand Surgical Private Practice at Praxis Dr.Lahoda, I offer individual solutions with 'outside-the-box-thinking' on a high level. I have over 20 years of experience in surgery, traumatology, emergency medicine, immunology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery. I am a board certified Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Hand Surgeon, and Surgeon, with licenses to practice in four European countries. I am also a scientific reviewer, author, board member of specialized surgical societies world-wide, and mentor to youngsters in the field. I have been a research fellow at the University of Michigan and a visiting plastic surgeon at several prestigious institutions. My academic professional interests include microsurgery, head and neck reconstruction, sarcoma surgery and reconstruction, burns, multi-organ failure, and sepsis. I am passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration, curiosity, individualization, and functional restoration of the skeletal system.
