Raised in New York City, I'm a restaurateur and entrepreneur with over 20+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, owning bars, nightclubs and, more recently, Whitmans Restaurant. When first founding Whitmans, I was determined to create a new type of dining experience. Whitmans is dedicated to incorporating the community into the creative cooking process, always using local vendors, suppliers and ingredients when available. I believe in taking a hands-on approach to any job, which I attribute to Whitmans’ success. My duties include day-to-day operations like hiring and training restaurant staff, speaking with vendors and creating work schedules as well as working on larger scale initiatives like partnering with other brands and designing national marketing campaigns.
