I'm a Service & Product Designer with a law background, which means I came into UX through a deep interest in how complex systems affect real people, not through a traditional design path. That still shapes how I work. For the past 5 years I've been focused on enterprise tools and government digital services. The kind of products that aren't glamorous but really matter to the people who use them every day. At TRT18 I have the opportunity to explore different projects and system thinking. My work looks different every week. From diving into discovery, user research, UI design & accessibility, to running design critiques, mentoring interns, facilitating workshops with non-designers and talking to different stakeholders. A truly generalist experience. I bring curiosity and structure to whatever I'm working on, always trying to learn something new and connect it back to better design. Some things I've shipped that I'm proud of: — Led a self-service portal restructure that reduced support tickets by 5%, contributing to TRT18 winning “CNJ's Linguagem Simples 2025” award — Worked with developers to deliver a payroll (recess extra hours) system that eliminated 2 months of annual reconciliation work — Helped build and maintain the design system for the Labour Regional Court (TRT18) — Redesigned an internal telephone directory and employee data tool from the ground up, rethinking the information architecture, search experience, and how data gets maintained at the source, so users can finally trust what they find there. — Redesigned a Power BI dashboard for 156 judiciary professionals, improving UX score from 7.5 to 9.6/10, navigation confidence to 4.8/5 and helping to create visual standards for the team — Worked in collaboration to improve accessibility in our websites and internal tools — Taught classes on basic visual design and service design concepts to non-designers as part of a plan to improve user experience (UX) maturity and strengthen branding through projects. Some of the methods I use: User interviews, usability testing, card sorting, tree testing, A/B testing, heuristic evaluation, workshop facilitation, audits and more.
"Tribunal Regional do Trabalho" translates to Labour Regional Court, where judges settle work disputes. As a Product Designer, I create internal tools and enhance websites that make it easier for court staff to do their jobs faster and better, simplifying their daily tasks ▹ Conducted user research, including interviews, card sorting, tree testing and usability testing, to inform the design of key internal systems and websites. ▹ Designed a multi-department internal system to request, approve, and validate extra-hour services, reducing reconciliation time by 2 months - working closely with a team of 2developers and 1requirements analyst to map and simplify complex workflows involving 5 departments: staff, managers, directors, budget analysts, and HR. ▹ Led restructure of high-traffic portal pages (Processo Judicial Eletrônico/PJe) creating self-service help content through information architecture and card sorting, reducing support tickets by 5% and contributed to institution winning CNJ's Selo Linguagem Simples 2025, validated by internal staff with 90% positive feedback. ▹ Redesigned 10-page Power BI dashboard for 156 judiciary professionals (judges, managers, court officials) through 8 usability tests—improved overall UX score from 7.5 to 9.6/10, navigation confidence to 4.8/5, and perceived experience improvement to 4.8/5. ▹ Facilitated 20+ cross-functional workshops (2-30 participants, in-person and remote) for problem-solving, feature prioritization, stakeholder mapping, and design critique across different departments. ▹ Developed UX Writing guidelines as foundation for institution's first comprehensive design system, standardizing microcopy patterns across internal platforms. ▹ Created UI component library and documentation enabling non-designers to maintain portal consistency, improving design governance across departments. ▹ Mentored 4 design interns on user research methods, Figma workflows, and basic accessibility standards
▹ Collaborating with the teams responsible for PostNord - Track your parcels App (leading provider of parcels and logistics services in the Nordics) ▹ Conducting Usability Testing, interviews and analyzing data to gather insights and iterate designs ▹ Mapping interactions, exploring UI possibilities and iterating based on feedback ▹ Exploring the web functionality of delegate for in-app use and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR)
▹ First design hire I helped introduced user-centered design methodology (interviews, usability testing, heatmaps) across 3 departments, previously using waterfall, establishing design practice from zero ▹ Working closely with developers and public sector teams to advocate for user-centric processes and design maturity. ▹ Integrated user feedback into the design process through user analytics, heatmaps, and usability tests to refine and enhance user interfaces. ▹ Designed mobile app for bailiffs documenting assets in field—facilitated 2,800+ asset registrations and 460+ certificates in first 8 months post-launch, improving field workflow efficiency by 60% based on early adopter feedback ▹ Conceptualized and designed prototypes and wireframes for usability testing, solving user problems and supporting developers. ▹ Created the first style guide for the institution, laying the foundation for a comprehensive design system that promotes consistency and inclusive, accessible design.
▹Served as a volunteer (part-time) and in-house consultant, advocating UX design with a focus on driving user experience improvements ▹ Redesigned an internal system for better responsivity across tablets and mobile, including interviews, prototyping, and wireframes, suggesting improvements in the user flow. ▹ Actively promoted the importance of user experience design
▹ Addressed the demands of the population and lawyers, providing solutions. ▹ Assisted judges by analyzing cases, interpreting petitions, and participating in the decision-making process. ▹ Conducted research on legislation and jurisprudence, preparing arguments and decision theses.
